In Chelyabinsk, from May 16 to May 19, teams from the Ural division met on the tatami of the RCSP in Judo of the Chelyabinsk region named after A. N.E. Miller. The judoists demonstrated the highest level of technique and the will to win, fighting to advance to the next stage of the tournament.

For four days in Chelyabinsk, the participants and fans were in suspense: the main intrigue was the question of which of the 16 applicants would get into the coveted "eight" and take a ticket to the second qualifying stage of the "Battle of Cities 2026".

In group a, the leadership was taken by judoka from SK Rodina (Sverdlovsk region), who confidently passed the group stage and took the first place. The representatives of the Druzhba team (Tyumen region) won the second ticket to the next round in a hard struggle.

In group B, the undisputed leader was the Konar team (Chelyabinsk region), which scored the maximum number of points. After them, from the second place, the owners of the tatami, the Denis Yartsev Center (Chelyabinsk Region), qualified for the next stage.

In group c, aerobatics was demonstrated by representatives of Tyumen Judo (Tyumen region), who left the group from the first place. The second place in the standings was taken by the Chelyabinsk Ichiban (Chelyabinsk region), which also secured entry into the next round.

In group d, the first were the boys from the Ugra team (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug), who demonstrated stable and powerful wrestling. The second participant of the next stage from this group was the collective "sshor Uralets" (Sverdlovsk region).

According to the results of the play-off matches, tickets to the second qualifying stage were received: "SK Rodina", "Druzhba", "Konar", "Denis Yartsev Center", "Tyumen Judo", "ichiban", "Yugra" and "sshor Uralets".
