Let us remind you that the first stage of the “Battle of the Cities” took place in April-May of this year. Teams of judokas under the age of 18 from 73 regions of the country took part in it. Based on the results of eight tournaments, eight squads were identified in each federal district, which received the right to continue fighting in the second stage.
The first stage of the “Battle of the Cities”, an international project of the Russian Judo Federation (FDR) and the Cradle of the Fatherland charitable foundation with the support of the general sponsor Fonbet, ended on May 27. Teams of judokas under the age of 18 from 73 regions of all eight federal districts of the country took part in it.

The draw for the second stage of the "Battle of Cities"—an international project organized by the Russian Judo Federation (RJF) and the "Cradle of the Fatherland" charity program, with the support of general sponsor Fonbet—took place in Moscow on June 23. The draw determined the lineups for eight tournaments in which 64 teams of judokas under the age of 18 from all of Russia's federal districts will compete for a spot in the final stage of the competition.
