The Russian Judo Federation and the Cradle of the Fatherland Charitable Foundation, with the support of the general sponsor FONBET, announce the launch of a large—scale international project, the Battle of the Cities youth judo tournament.
The main goal of the tournament is not only to identify the strongest teams, but also to create a powerful impetus for the development of youth sports, strengthen international friendships and form a new generation of champions, strong both on the tatami and in life.
The path to the top will begin with qualifying stages in eight Russian cities, where young judoka will compete for the right to represent their city. The culmination of the project will be the Superfinal, which will be held from December 2 to December 18, 2026. It is in the finals that the strongest teams from Russia and foreign countries will gather to determine the best of the best.
We are confident that the final competitions will become a vivid celebration of sports, embodying the main values of judo: mutual respect, discipline, striving for excellence and fortitude.
