The draw for the teams participating in the "Battle of Cities – Grand Final" all-Russian tournament will take place on Thursday, October 1. The event begins at 1:00 PM Moscow time.

"Battle of Cities" is an international project organized by the Russian Judo Federation and the "Cradle of the Fatherland" charity program, with support from the general sponsor, Fonbet. It features teams of judokas under the age of 18 from all of Russia's federal districts, as well as top international squads.

The second stage of the "Battle of Cities"—a series of eight competitions held within so-called "legions" across each federal district—is currently underway. Competitions have already taken place in four legions: "Pyotr Bagration," "Dmitry Donskoy," "Alexander Suvorov," and "Fyodor Ushakov." Four tournaments remain: those in the "Georgy Zhukov," "Pavel Nakhimov," "Alexander Nevsky," and "Mikhail Kutuzov" legions. The winners of each of the eight legions qualify to compete in the "Battle of Cities" All-Russian Grand Final, which will be held in Moscow from November 8 to 10. Teams from Nazran, Krasnodar, Nalchik, and Chelyabinsk have already secured their spots in the tournament.

Over the three days of the All-Russian Grand Final, the country's eight best teams will not only determine the strongest squad of young judokas but also compete for a prize pool totaling 42 million rubles.

Additionally, the "Battle of Cities" International Super Final will take place in the Russian capital from December 3 to 17. Competing for a substantial prize pool will be the top 16 Russian teams based on the results of the second stage, 8 teams determined through international qualifying tournaments, and 8 foreign squads invited by the organizers.
